Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm

2009 Fun on the Farm Camp - July 20-24:
This week of camp is something completely new that we will be offering this year.  Be prepared for lots of fun, adventure and excitement during this week of Farm Camp.  Our introduction to farm life will begin by reading the book “Peter’s Prickly Pants” written by Quiet Valley’s very own Gram Wicks! Then we will create our very own puppet show based on this book. We will make the puppets and scenery as well as create the dialogue.  But that’s not all that we will be doing this week.  Cooking over the open fire will be a nice way to create lunch one day. We’ll learn all about nature and trees, while having fun. Arts and crafts, games and animals also will be nice additions to the week. To finish off, we will make old fashioned ice cream and perform our puppet show. Bring your imagination and join us for Fun on the Farm.
